The village in the immediate vicinity of the Novsko Zdrilo strait is an ideal place for family vacations, offering home-made food, clear seawater and beautiful views on Velebit Mountain.
 

ROVANJSKA (Ravanjska), a village on the coast of the Velebit Channel north of the Maslinica Strait in northern Dalmatia. Chief occupations are farming, livestock breeding, fishing and tourism. Rovanjska is located on the main road (M2, E65).
 

The cemetery features the church of St. George of a very interesting shape. The present sanctuary is the original small church, upon which subsequent extensions were attached at a right angle on the northern and western sides. The original pre-Romanesque church has a quadrangular ground-plan with a semicircular apse and an elliptical cupola. The conical, tiled roof was reconstructed in 1983.
