Beautiful coves around Rogac (Banje, Kasjun, Zustova, etc.) attract
numerous boaters and tourists, providing
ideal conditions for peaceful vacations
amidst intact nature.
ROGAC, a hamlet of the village
of Grohote on the northern coast of the
island of Solta, 2 km northwest of
Grohote; the largest port on Solta. The
coast in the vicinity of the port is
indented with a number of coves. The
local road connects Rogac (via Grohote)
with other places on the island.
In the port there is a citadel with loopholes, dating back to the 17th century. The church of St. Therese has an altarpiece with the portrait of the donor from 1749. The cove of Banje features the remains of a Roman fishpond and walls.
