Lozisca is located at the intersection of the roads leading from
Sutivan to Milna. In the
vicinity is a nice bay with
the place called Luka
Bobovisca.
LOZISCA (LoziSce), a village in the western part of the island of Brac, about 1 km east of Bobovisca; elevation 83 m; population 181. Economy is based on farming, vine and olive growing. Lozisca is located on the regional road running throughout the entire island. Above the cove of Vicja Luka is the hill-fort Rat (finds from the Bronze Age and from the Greek colonization period), and northeast of the village is the pre-Romanesque church of Our Lady of Stomorica from the 11th/12th century. The parish church from 1820 (with late Renaissance forms) was later reconstructed.
