This renowned seaside resort on the Opatija riviera has now been almost
completely incorporated by Opatija. Due
to extremely luxuriant vegetation and
favourable climate, the tourist season
is open round the year. Icici is famous
for its exceptionally well-equipped
marina. Apart from a variety of
accommodation facilities (hotel,
campsite, apartments), sports facilities
(tennis courts, water sports - boats,
yachting), nautical tourism has been
especially developed. Nearby Opatija
offers numerous cultural and
entertainment programs.
Opatija ACI Marina has 400 berths in the sea and 100 places on the land; vessel length 5-13 m.
ICICI, a small town and seaside resort on the eastern coast of Istria, 7 km south of Opatija. It is located at the foot of steep slopes of Ucka Mountain; population 579. Development of tourism initiated the construction of a new complex of rest and vacation homes. A variety of relief forms offered good opportunities for a harmonious and picturesque arrangement of houses and the mild climate favoured horticulture, which makes Icici attractive for visitors both in summer and in winter.
